I've always had a thing for pearls and I am now the proud owner of my very own real ones that my sweet husband gave me on our wedding day. I love them so much and would love to have a pretty bracelet to wear with them. Here are a few I found at Blue Nile.
I found this one at Red Envelope. Love that site! They have some really unique things...
I also found this one there. I love the little Mom heart charm...
I think any mom, me included, would love either of these gorgeous dried floral wreaths to fancy up her front door. I found this one at Plow and Hearth.
And this beautiful one of dried hydrangeas at Williams Sonoma.
I found these fancy organic towels at Pottery Barn. I'll be straight up with y'all...I have no clue exactly what an organic towel entails or that there even was a such thing but they are just too cute for words...
Okay, I'm no June Cleaver and have never been known to traipse around the house in an apron but the ones I found at apron warehouse have made me see them in a whole new light. There were so many darling ones but I of course picked out these two with poppies since I now have a thing for them and all. No lie. I am seriously considering becoming an apron wearer. If you or your mom is already a fan of the apron, you must check this site out.
Coffee is an absolute necessity for me in the mornings, as I know it is for many moms. It would, of course, taste better in a cute little hummingbird mug like this one I found on Amazon. $41.98 for a set of four...
Y'all have heard me talk about my childhood babysitter, Mrs. White, but I haven't told you about her salt and pepper shaker collection. I am not sure how it got started but somehow every time one of us many kids she kept over the years went on vacation, we'd bring her some gaudy souvenir salt and pepper shakers from whatever touristy place we happened to have visited. Well, I never, ever thought I'd ever see a pair shaped like birds that I would actually really want but I.was.wrong. While fancy mom surfing, I found these at Pier 1 and I must have them! Maybe they simply remind me of Mrs. White but please tell me it's not just me. Aren't they precious? Also loved this redbird plate. It also comes in a couple of other colors. I think yellow and blue. Very Mother's Dayish, I say.
Every mom needs a cute watch. I'm in love with this turquoise one I found at Nordstrom.
Or what about this one? Comes in three fancy colors at Garnet Hill.
I couldn't not include some sort of fancy footwear but giving shoes as a gift is not something most of us feel comfortable doing, and for good reason. Houseshoes, as I grew up calling them and I am quite sure is some sort of country slang for... Slippers is always a perfectly acceptable gift. I know my mom has always loved it when I have given her a pair in the past. I found these at Zappos and they come in about 4 or 5 different colors.
I like pina coladas and gettin' caught in the rain! Sorry, I couldn't resist. We all need an umbrella or two or three and why shouldn't they be fancy? I found these 3 fancies at Amazon. I especially like the blue one with daisies and butterflies. It just looks happy.
For moms who like to grow things in the dirt I even found some fancy gardening supplies at uncommongoods. Great site.
And check out this fancy smancy sunhat I found at songbird garden. LOVE IT!
For bird loving moms I found this awesome hummingbird feeder at yardenvy.com. This has to be the best hummingbird feeder I've found to date. Even has a little shelter for the birdies.
Or how about a fancy little doormat for the front door. Found this one with a Spring Sparrow at Pottery Barn.
If your mom is a hot tea drinker, you couldn't go wrong with a cute little tea pot like this one.
Most of us moms and our moms from the South, however, like to drink our tea cold....and sweet! What better way to fancy up that sweet iced tea than by pouring it out of one of these pitchers by Charleston Pottery.
Or you could just go visit her and give her a nice card and a hug. I think that's all most moms really want anyway. I treasure my cards as if they were precious jewels.
Hope all of you moms have a wonderful Mother's Day!

My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. ~Graycie Harmon
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving
When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. ~Sophia Loren
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh
